Do I get to keep my program forever?
Yes, you get to keep programs that are a one-time charge forever. You will be emailed with a link to download the Mobile App. You cannot join by searching in the App Store.
If you signed up via subscription, you retain access to your program with an active subscription only.
Do I have to complete SHRED 1.0 and 2.0 before starting SHRED 3.0?
No. These programs can be completed in any order, as they do not build on each other.
Does SFL Coaching include Weekly 1-On-1 Check-Ins?
Yes--working 1-on-1 with Brian or another coach is available for additional purchase after sign up. Between the 100+ education videos and our private community to ask questions and share progress, you'll have plenty of support.
It has been over 24 hours since I signed up and I don't see my plans. What do I do?
Email firstname.lastname@example.org and include the email you used to sign up. This sometimes happens for one of two reasons:
1) You first signed up for a free trial plan. (ex. V-Cut Ab Program) Sometimes our software doesn't alert us when a free-trial client signs up for a full program.
2) Our coaches are backed up and hard at work setting up new clients during a busy time. (ex. New Years, start of summer, etc.)
Does SFL Coaching cover both training and nutrition?
Yes. You receive a (1) full training program and (2) nutrition program. We do not offer "training only" and "nutrition only" options, however you can choose to not use the training plan if you are only seeking nutrition coaching, and vice versa (As an example).
What training program should I start?
The SHRED Program Series is for men and women looking to primarily
lose fat and, as a secondary
goal, gain strength & muscle.
The BUILD Program Series is for men and women looking to primarily gain strength & muscle and, as a secondary goal, lose fat.
Join the program series that aligns with your primary goal. Based on your interview after you sign up, we will place you in the appropriate program. You have the ability to change programs at any time.
How is my nutrition program chosen for me?
Your nutrition program includes a (1) Meal Plan and (2) Calorie and Macronutrient (Protein, Carb, Fat) Goals. Based on your interview after you sign up, we will create your plan for you. You have the ability to ask for changes at any time.
How do I receive an updated nutrition program?
Each client is given a meal plan that includes 7 full days of eating. Clients do not receive a new meal plan every week. A client can request a new meal plan after 1) a client has completed a full program, or 2) a client switches to a new program with a differing goal from their old program. [Note: Clients who request to change programs frequently will not be given a new meal plan every time.]
Where do I ask a question about my Meal Plan or nutrition protocol as a whole?
I was given the wrong Meal Plan. How do I get a new one?
I prescribe to a specific eating philosophy. Will you cater to me?
Yes. Our Meal Plans include Protein Focused, Keto-Protein Focused, Gluten Free, Lactose Free, Paleo, Low Glycemic, Vegetarian, Vegan, Anti-Inflammatory, Mediterranean, Carb Focused, Gluten/Lactose/Soy Free, and Teen Friendly.
Can I join if I don't live in the United States?
Yes. Any one from any country can join.
Do you coach women?
Yes! Roughly 30% of our clients are female. The Training and Nutrition Programs are appropriate for both men and women.
I have an injury. Can I still join this program?
The answer depends on the person and the specific injury, but if you've been cleared by a professional to partake in physical activity, we will work with you so you can make progress while avoiding further injury. The truth is... fat loss is something that can happen regardless of a back, shoulder, or knee injury.
Will I have access to Brian during the program?
Yes. As the creator of SFL Coaching, I'll be available on a daily basis in our Private Community
, answering all of your questions in conjunction with my assistant coaches Andy and Chad.
How do I join the Private SFL Facebook Community?
I'm not sure I'll have access to the equipment required. What are my options?
No worries. We offer gym-based programs and home-based programs.
Our home-based minimal equipment programs include bodyweight-only, resistance band-only, and dumbbell-only.
Our gym-based programs are designed to be performed in a typical commercial gym. However, we provide a list of exercise substitutions and the vast majority of exercises can be completed in a home gym with a barbell, dumbbells, and cable machine.
What if my plan is not enjoyable for me and/or not creating the results I'm looking for?
We believe the journey to a body you're proud of gets to be a fun experience. If you give your initial plan a valiant effort and still are not enjoying it, we will give you a new plan to fit your preferences.
I'm a beginner and questioning whether I'm ready for this. I'm worried this will be too hard. Do you coach beginners?
Do not worry! Even if you have never been to the gym and don't understand what a calorie is, we will be able to meet you where YOU are and educate you. While there will be individuals in this program who have great bodies and are already regimented, there there will also be beginners just like you.
What are my options after I complete my program? What if I want to be coached longer than my 12-week plan?
As your end date approaches, we will message you and provide guidance on what's an appropriate next step for you. After your program, you can join the next level of your program, switch to another program completely, or repeat the program. We do not believe in quick fixes when it comes to your health and always have an opportunity to continue making progress.

Can I sign up for the yearly rate after already signing up for monthly?
Yes--email email@example.com and we will ensure you can sign up for the discounted yearly rate, less the monthly amount you already paid.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancelling is simple and you have 2 options to do so. Both require you to sign into the web version of the App on your computer. Sign in here
From your dashboard, navigate to "My Account" by clicking your name in the top right corner of the page.
1. Under "My Purchases", cancel auto-renew. This will revoke your access automatically after your current month's billing cycle finishes. You will keep access through the date you paid.
2. Under "Payment Information", remove your credit/debit card details. This will stop future payments and cancel the subscription, still keeping access to your account through the date you paid.
(If you choose Option 2, please note payment attempt emails are automatic, so if you receive some email reminders, just ignore them.)
